RADICAL DUKE ENTERTAINMENT is a recordlabel which represents musicians – somewhere in the twilightzone between popular music and avant garde.
Roots mixed with industrial, ‘chambre’ music with a rock ‘n’ roll touch, experimental structures and sounds with melodic beauty.

RDE was born as a declaration of independence for the Antwerp-based band DAAU.
After two releases with a major label, the band was strongly disappointed in the profit-driven musicbusiness. With their own label they want to establish themselves in the music-scène without all the dealings & goals of the majors.

Since the foundation in 2001, DAAU has known an expanding succes in their very own business and artistic matters, not to be interrupted by any commercial dealings.

That is why RDE as a label is capable to support other artists, whilst remaining loyal to their philosophy where the musician & the music are the first concern.
